Ceramic Products

Adak Polymer Industry was established to research and manufacture a wide array of thermal insulators. Parallel to the increasing use of ceramic insulators in industries like automotive, oil, petrochemicals, and steel, and considering the significant import of these products into the country, the production of ceramic paper became a pivotal part of its development plan. Adak Polymer Industry initiated the acquisition of equipment, technology transfer, and installation and commissioning of a production line in Shahid Saeedi Industrial Town in Khomeini Shahr, aiming to be the nation’s inaugural ceramic paper manufacturer and supplier meeting the industrial needs of the country.

Ceramic Paper

Ceramic paper, also referred to as non-combustible paper is a form of ceramic insulation crafted from various ceramic fibers such as HA and HZ fibers. It boasts high resistance to heat, favorable physical attributes, and chemical resistance. These properties render ceramic paper an ideal solution for insulation in environments with high temperatures, corrosion resistance, and thermal fluctuations. Its distinct features include flexibility, uniform thickness, high tensile strength, and a low thermal conductivity coefficient compared to ceramic fibers due to its thin composition. Ceramic paper, being white, exhibits a maximum temperature tolerance of up to 1430 degrees Celsius. Due to its asbestos-free and non-hazardous nature to both humans and the environment, it stands as a highly suitable alternative to asbestos-containing insulation. Additionally, it is environmentally friendly and finds extensive use in industrial equipment insulation.
In addition to the mentioned characteristics, its resistance to oxidation and various corrosive agents, sound insulation capabilities, ease of installation, and resistance to abrupt temperature changes have garnered significant interest across diverse industries, leading to the widespread utilization of ceramic paper for effective and efficient insulation in their products.

What is Ceramic Fiber Paper?

Ceramic fiber paper, also known as noncombustible paper, primarily consists of high-purity aluminum silicate fibers and is created through a fiber-washing process. This technique produces a non-woven matrix composed of fibers, binders, and additives that are flexible, uniform, and pliable. Ceramic fiber paper is a fundamental material for those in the manufacturing industry. It is a type of high-temperature insulation paper crucial for many production processes. Its primary characteristic is its appearance: white and odorless. This paper finds extensive use in high-temperature applications (1260, 1360, and 1400 degrees Celsius), although certain grades can withstand temperatures up to 1600 degrees Celsius. In some cases, organic binders are used in producing the paper, particularly when greater strength is needed, or when organic binders are not suitable for the intended use due to potential degradation.
